FAQ
Q: "The Cruisin Player does not work?"
A: Have you got a flash player installed? For Firefox users, there is a nice plug-in here. You can alternatively get the Adobe Flash player for your own particular browser from Adobe here.
Remember to untick any third party offered (like McAfee anti virus) unless you want it of course!
If the Cruisin player still does not work, make sure your pop-up blocker is disabled on crusinradio.net
Q: Sometimes the Cruisin player fails to start in Opera or Chrome?
A: Sadly, we cannot find the answer to this rare problem that happens intermittently. There have been no reports of problems in Firefox or Internet Explorer.
Q: "One of the other players does not work?"
A:
Make sure you have the appropriate player of your choice installed. VLC and Winamp are very good.
Q: "The station will not play the dial-up stream on my phone?"
A: YOU WILL NEED AN AAC+ COMPATIBLE PLAYER FOR YOUR PHONE!

If you are having problems listening by clicking on one of the common player links here, or you can't get the station player to work either- please read the information below. No matter what Operating system or computer, you should find the answer in the following paragraphs
DO YOU NEED WINAMP?
You can NOW play these streams with the latest FREE version of Winamp!
If using Windows: If using an old version of Winamp you may wish to upgrade, as it is more versatile. If so, UNINSTALL your current version of winamp via Control Panel & Add/Remove Programs, then download and install the latest version available from here direct

OR VLC PLAYER?
Or, if you prefer, you may wish to use VLC Player, which is available from here http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
When you want to play the AAC+ stream you have to click here and choose "copy shortcut" and then paste it in to the "open network stream" section in VLC player (This is found under the "Media" section on the top left part of the VLC window!).
Then you simply choose PASTE in to the box headed "Please enter a network URL:" box.
All you do now, is simply hit PLAY!
There you go!

How do I access PLS files on SHOUTcast.com?
Users wishing to use their default media players (eg Winamp, Windows Media Player, iTunes) to listen to SHOUTcast radio stations should follow these instructions. Further, this tutorial is also geared towards users wishing to access each station's launch link in pls format.
Step 1: Go to Help --> Settings from the top main menu.
Step 2: Check the option that says "Play SHOUTcast stations in default media player ( eg: Winamp / iTunes / Windows Media Player )"
Step 3: Click "Save Settings"

INSTALLING WINAMP WITHOUT ALL THE UNWANTED ADD-ONS!
How to install Winamp, and recommendations!
Go here http://www.winamp.com/player
and download the FULL/Free version,lasttime I looked it was the box on the right you had to click!
If you are using Windows,it will come up with a box called File Download-Security warning.
Now choose Save
Next, you will get a Security Warning box Internet Explorer - choose Run
Now, the Winamp Installer will start choose Next
Then choose I agree to the license agreement
Accept C:\Program Files\Winamp\ as the destination folder and choose Next
The chose components page will now appear choose Custom
Now let it tick ALL the boxes choose Next
On the next page there are three boxes UN-tick the Create Quick Launch box, leave the two others ticked and click Next.
Now it is important to do the following, or you will have unwanted items installed on your PC!
In the “Get the most out of Winamp” page
UN-tick the Winamp toolbar, Set Winamp as the default search engine and the 50 free downloads- you don’t want ANY of these!!!!
Now, choose Install and then Finish
Now, the next stage… Winamp Setup
On the first page called Choose Skin choose Next
On page2/4 called Associations, leave ALL ticked, and winamp will become the default player for most everything. This should cause no problems. Choose Next
Now page 3 of 4 called Choose Online Services:
I would suggest UN-Tick everything! Now choose Next
Now, we have finally reached the last page (4/4) called User Feedback, leave it all blank and choose Finish
Now, when you go to the links here and click, Winamp should start automatically and Play Cruisin Radio!!!
